Dear Gossips,
American Thanksgiving is on Thursday so it’s either all about whatever crazy sales are happening for Black Friday or … recipes.
Matthew McConaughey went viral the other day for his tuna salad. He was on 2 Bears, 1 Cave podcast and called himself the “tuna fish salad master maker” and revealed the ingredients. Then people started trying it and lost their minds, I guess?
Here’s the clip, although you might want to adjust for volume and/or clutch your pearls because somehow finger f-cking shows up in a conversation about tuna, LOL. If you can’t watch, skip to below because I’ll list the ingredients.

So in addition to the tuna, obviously, the other ingredients are:
-lemon
-vinegar
-mayo and wasabi
-chopped red onions and pickles
-jalapeño chips for crunch
-apple
-agave
-corn
-frozen peas
I have only one issue and it’s not a big deal but the apple for me is a skip. I’d replace the apple with water chestnuts. Also, thank GOD he didn’t say raisins. There are monsters on this planet who actually add raisins to tuna salad, what is this nonsense?
The non-Asian reaction though to the wasabi that I’ve seen online is hilarious. You know what would blow their minds even more? Once you experience kewpie mayo you will never f-ck with western mayo ever again.
Are we fighting about this? If there’s a dispute, let’s take it over to our Substack, The Squawk, for more recipe conversations and shares. (App link here)
Yours in gossip,
