Today is American Thanksgiving and to celebrate the occasion, Harry and Meghan of House Sussex, who are currently taking a break from royal duties, posted a Thanksgiving message on Instagram:
There have been conflicting reports over the last few weeks about where the Sussexes would be spending American Thanksgiving – some speculated that they’d be in America proper, with Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland. That doesn’t seem to be the case and, since the confirmation that they will not be joining the Queen and the royal family at Sandringham, there have been rumours that, perhaps, they’ll be in LA for Christmas instead. No one seems to have a reliable inside track on the Harry and Meghan right now and it could be because, in distancing themselves from the courtiers and the royal political machine, they’re cutting down on how many people can sell them out from inside. Given all that’s happened with Prince Andrew the last few weeks, it kinda seems like certain advisors at the palace don’t know what the f-ck they’re doing anyway.
Before their Thanksgiving post, however, the Sussexes celebrated another occasion – yesterday was the two year anniversary of their engagement announcement:
The second shot in that carousel is a new photo of them from their wedding day. They must have dozens of these, along with what’s probably hundreds more of Archie Harrison Windsor Mountbatten that they’ll trickle out over time. I wonder if we’ll see a picture of Archie’s first Christmas on December 25.
