Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie may be the beneficiaries of Sussexit. Now that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are no longer working royals, the British royal family has two spots to fill. That could fall to Prince Andrew’s daughters, which I’m sure will greatly please him. Given how much time he’s been spending with his mother, as her “rock”, he probably has the time to encourage the idea. The last line of this post is gold. (Dlisted)

Blake Lively’s movie, The Rhythm Section, opens this weekend. No reviews so far. January movies are, usually, you know. At the same time, Blake’s had back to back “B movie” hits. So, maybe, January’s actually a really good month for The Rhythm Section. Anyway, here she is at the premiere last night in a LOT of pearls. I’m not feeling all these pearls. (Cele|bitchy)

Laura Dern wore a leather dress over a white frill-collar shirt to the Oscar Nominees Luncheon yesterday and it’s not that I hate this look because I don’t, I quite like it, especially the colour, but it’s not all that exciting considering it’s firmly in Laura’s lane. This is her silhouette. Given that she’s definitely going to win at the Oscars, I wonder how safe she’ll go – or whether she’ll dial it up on the red carpet. (Go Fug Yourself)

Robert Downey Jr’s Dolittle hasn’t been critically well-received. Sarah’s review is here. It doesn’t look like it’s going to do much at the box office either. So, probably, we’re looking at an overall disappointment. Now that he’s presumably done with Iron Man/Tony Stark, what’s next for RDJ? Now that he has all this money and freedom, will he take on smaller projects? Or… is it OK for him to just coast? (Pajiba)

Have you seen Cats? Probably not? It didn’t do well at the box office. But… guess what? Because it didn’t do well at the box office, it’s now on its way to becoming maybe a cult hit. And could eventually become a cult classic? Cats and Showgirls, your future double bill. (Vulture)
