Heads up Shreveport…Katie Holmes is in town. So save her! Save her while you can! Because right now, she’s alone! Tom Cruise has yet to join her, he will be doing so in a matter of days – which means she’s alone…but not really. 

Bet your boob job the Church has her handcuffed to the BFF shadow.

But I digress.

Point is, Katie is in Louisiana, she was spotted at Target on Friday, stopped to chat with locals, was friendly and even told reporters about being released her experience:

"I met some really great people, and it was nice. They did recognize me, and it was a pleasure meeting them. We had nice chats about kids, and it was lovely."

Lots a personality there, non?

Anyway, Mrs Cruise is scheduled to begin shooting Mad Money today with Diane Keaton and Queen Latifah – a project she supposedly chose OVER another Batman. Ahem. This is how she describes the character she’ll be playing: 

"She's funny, she's smart and just a little bit misunderstood. She"s involved in this crime, but she's sort of delighted to just be a part of something and have girlfriends for the first time. She's a type of person who creates a happier environment than she"s actually in. ... I like that about her. She's a free spirit."

Vicariously living through a part…heartbreaking, non?
