We’re getting closer and closer to the long-awaited release of Bond: No Time To Die, the 25th film in the franchise, pushed back a few times because of the pandemic. The movie opens September 30 in the UK and October 8 in North America, although the Australian release has been delayed further because of the COVID situation there.

It’s also been confirmed that the big UK red carpet premiere is happening at Royal Albert Hall in London on September 28. Bond is a very British IP, and Bond premieres are usually very well attended. Daniel Craig will be there, of course, along with director Cary Fukunaga and Bond producer Barbara Broccoli. And … probably Prince William? He and Kate were at the last one in 2015, and William’s been a regular at Bond premieres. It’s unlikely he’d miss this one considering what the franchise means to the British film industry and to England in general. Will we see Kate wearing a new Jenny Packham dress?

The villain of Bond 25 is Rami Malek, and over in LA, he hosted a screening of the film attended by Jodie Turner-Smith, Margot Robbie, and Kaia Gerber. Rami’s been in LA recently but I can’t imagine he’d skip the big carpet in London and miss out on all the tradition that comes with a Bond movie.

Here’s Rami with Lucy Boynton at Book Soup yesterday. I was wondering if they were still together and now we have the answer.
