It may have worked better if the dress wasn’t so...poorly constructed. She’s drowning in it. Now I know I’m on automatic hate when it comes to taffeta and, as such, it may not be fair, my immediate aversion to her Zac Posen, but you have to admit, it’s messy across the chest. At this level of access, when you can access the very, very best in quality, when you are not limited to pageant and prom selections, I don’t know why sloppy finishing and taffeta is ever an option and why, again and again and again, these women choose to become one with a red carpet.
