It’s been a minute since we’ve checked in with Rihanna—since Natalie Portman was talking about her—so here she is, living her night owl life in New York in a cow-print coat over what looks to me like bed rotting clothes—an undershirt and underpants. It’s Rihanna, so it’s probably all designer and costs thousands, but I know bed rotting clothes when I see them. The only “stars—they’re just like us” question I want answered is who prefers bed rotting versus couch rotting.

In other Riri news, people are trying to make P. Diddy her problem, asking if she attended any of the “freak offs”. Can we all agree to not make women responsible for Diddy? I mean, paparazzi shout bizarre questions at celebrities all the time, hoping for a reaction that will make their photos more interesting/valuable. But in this case, I mean…it’s a CASE. An actual factual legal case. Let’s not make Diddy women’s problem, but also, let’s maybe leave some elbow room for people who might well end up witnesses! I’m not suggesting Rihanna is on that (potential) list, but I bet there are famous women who will end up testifying, can we not exacerbate the situation with dumbass paparazzi questions just trying to provoke a reaction?

In other, more productive Riri news, Naomi Campbell talked about allegedly shading Rihanna after the Alaïa show last month:

She toldThe New York Times, “I’m not about to let the world pitch two Black women against each other. We are two women with two children, mothers.”

You could have just stopped at “I’m not about to let the world pitch two Black women against each other.” I don’t know what kids have to do with it, unless the suggestion is that mothers don’t fight, which the entire Bravo universe of reality shows would suggest is untrue. But sentiment accepted, Naomi Campbell wasn’t shading Rihanna and her fancy fish net at the Alaïa show. For his part, Law Roach said “something ain’t always something”, which is, actually, a GREAT response to photographers shouting randomly about Diddy.
