It’s contentious but it’s also interesting to see how quickly the conversation around motherhood has evolved between generations; it used to be a given that famous, married women would have children and if they didn’t they were endlessly questioned about that. I’m not saying the conversation has gotten smarter or more sensitive, but it has shifted.
