Always happy to see Rosamund Pike – and she looks so happy in these photos. Rosamund is in New York to promote The Wheel of Time, season three is airing now. I don’t watch this show regularly but I covered the junket a couple of months ago so I had to study up and I do know that her character, Moiraine is a no-nonsense bad bitch, which is exactly right where she’s concerned. Since Gone Girl, I think there are a lot of us out here who’d volunteer to get spiked by Rosamund. There was a lot of online thirst over how deliciously mean she was in Saltburn. And then, back in December, I rewatched Pride and Prejudice 2005 – it turns 20 years old this year! – and was reminded of how sweet and soft she was as Jane.

Anyway, about this outfit… I love it, right up to the knees. The paisley top and the long shorts are excellent together, and the belt is gorgeous too. But these boots, I hate them so much. Everything about them – the colour, the shape of the heel and the toe, the fit through the leg – HATE. You know what makes up for the boots though? Her voice. Listening to her talk, that low tone, makes everything better.

What else happened today…

Ncuti Gatwa’s outfit, on the other hand, is perfect. No notes. (Go Fug Yourself)

Reddit is talking about movie couples who end up together but would totally not end up lasting. Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper from Silver Linings Playbook is exactly right. You know what couple would make it, even though that’s not the point of this discussion? Lucy and Jack from While You Were Sleeping. Forever! (Pajiba)

I did not have allergies growing up. But for whatever reason, starting six or seven years ago, I’m always congested during allergy season and the eyes are itchy etc etc etc. Apparently pollen is worse than ever this year – I can confirm it because it’s fully spring here in Korea and just as I was getting over a bad cold, the allergies are kicking up. I am a sneezing mess. (Celebitchy)

I was today years old when I found out that there is a cottage cheese craze. I haven’t had cottage cheese in… at least two decades. Do I need to be rethinking this? (The Cut)

Here in Korea, Jennie is a steady presence. If she’s not staring down at you from a building in Chanel, the billboard is in support of her album. The “Like Jennie” dance challenge is big on TikTok, so many Korean idols have posted their version of the choreography – and the album is SO GOOD. But Jennie’s worldwide right now. And the western promotional strategy is hitting. This is Jennie on the cover of Complex. (Complex)
