Sabrina Carpenter’s new dog?

Sabrina Carpenter is currently on break from touring until she plays two shows in London in July before breaking again until the fall when she’ll hit several cities in North America before finally wrapping up Short n’ Sweet just before American Thanksgiving. 

Here she is hanging at a park in Hollywood and these are the first pap shots we’ve had of her in a while. Of course she was photographed around the time of the Met Gala but those kinds of pap shots aren’t what I’m talking about. That event was a huge production, so many photographers were stationed around the hotels and the museum so it was inevitable for anyone attending to be photographed in and out during those few days. And, for celebrities, the Met Gala is kinda like work.

Sabrina isn’t working in the park. And given how famous she’s been over the last couple of years, she’s not papped all that often in her down time. Almost three months of downtime is the perfect time for a puppy – is this her new puppy? 

Sabrina already has two dogs, Louis and Goodwin and they travel with her, they were mentioned several times in her Vogue cover story back in March. This dog doesn’t look like either Louis or Goodwin. This dog looks like a golden retriever puppy, look at all that baby fur! Golden puppies are often compared to lambs – and it’s because of fur like this. Sh-t, this is giving me puppy fever. 

You know who often doesn’t have puppy fever? The grown dogs. Our older dog, Barney, despised his little brother when we brought him home as a puppy – get that thing away from me, I hate it. I wonder how Sabrina’s two grown ones are handling the arrival of a new sibling, if this puppy is indeed hers.

What else happened today…

It’s been a big couple of days for Canada in sports because Shai Gilgeous-Alexander from my hometown Toronto, Ontario is the NBA’s MVP!  Shai is known for his unflappable demeanour on the court but he got emotional yesterday at the press conference when talking about his wife Hailey Summers and their child. And Shai’s not done – because of course OKC is in the conference finals right now and they’re looking really tough to beat. You know what else Shai is known for though? Style. His Instagram is often the inspo. His Met Gala fit in 2023 is still one of the best I’ve ever seen. (SI)

I love what Parker Posey is wearing here because, well, she’s Parker Posy – she’s never boring so why would she wear anything safe or expected? That said, the dress could have really benefited from a backdrop that wasn’t red. (Go Fug Yourself)

I am not a millennial so I know nothing about Lilo & Stitch. Literally nothing. Have never watched a minute of a Lilo or a Stitch. The only Lilo I know is Lindsay Lohan. But this interview with Stitch talking about Avengers just made me laugh. Not enough for me to get educated on what Lilo & Stitch is all about, but I’ll admit, there is the beginning of a little affection. (The Mary Sue)
