I think we can all agree that the biggest swimsuit trend right now is the high-waisted bikini and like the style skank I am, I want one too. I’ve been on the hunt for months to find the perfect one and…… jackpot!
Is it some flashy, colour-clashing, printastic suit? No. And that’s exactly why I love it. It’s simple, sleek and timeless. And for me, a good swimsuit all comes down to the fabric and Left on Friday has taken a ton of time and effort to source the absolute best from Italy. The compressive smoothing fabric feels f-cking amazing on, but it also won’t fade in the sun, can handle chlorine to salt water and it’s snag resistant too. Hell to the Yah.
As for fit – it’s epic. The rise comes high enough that you can tuck in all the muffin-tops you want and the mid-cut thigh-rise and butt coverage allows the right amount of skin to show off. Then there’s the matching top, essentially a bralette meets a sports bra, which as you know Lainey and I are huge fans of. So yes people, that means you can swim, surf, run a f-cking marathon if you want and all your bits will be just where you left them.
