Rare Beauty and BÉIS have collaborated on a luggage set and limited-edition beauty kit – all of it is hot pink. Rare Beauty is doing extremely well and over the summer, Samsonite acquired a majority ownership of BÉIS, with Shay Mitchell staying on as chief brand officer. Going into luggage while most other celebrities focus on fashion and beauty was a very smart pivot for Mitchell.

In 2025, she also launched a Korean skincare line targeted to kids. The launch wasn’t smooth and it got immediate side-eye for applying beauty marketing tactics of products like face masks and barrier creams aimed at kids. It’s about a year old and they currently have a pop-up at The Grove in LA. The Instagram video promoting it has a mix of ages, not exactly kids but young people and that’s the trick with marketing to such a young age. Young kids want what teens want and teens want products that are marketed to grown-ups, not kids.

DeuxMoi was the first to report that Dan Reynolds and Minka Kelly have broken up. Apparently, a few people spotted him on Raya and that was the giveaway. She hasn’t deleted her posts that include him, the last one he was tagged in is from August 11. Maybe it’s a generational thing but I think not deleting is the right move because deleting shows you are bothered. But not deleting, it’s like you don’t have time to sweat a measly Instagram post. (It’s also possible that they are on a break and will get back together.)
