Selena’s birthday weekend

Selena Gomez turned 25 years old on Saturday. She celebrated with her “people” and two birthday cakes with a promise that this year would be “epic”:

Her boyfriend, The Weeknd, wasn’t with her because he was performing in Paris. However, Abel now has a couple of weeks off tour as he’s not due to resume until August 6 in Montreal. So he flew back right away to see Selena and they went out for lunch together to make sure we know that their relationship is all good. And it should be good for at least another month because after that show on August 6th, he’s actually off until September.

You know what happens during that month? The MTV VMAs. August 27th. I wouldn’t be surprised if Selena is announced as a performer and since they’ve already been to the MET Gala together, why not the VMAs. It would be their first award show, right?
