In the open today I mentioned Britney Spears’s song “Selfish”, a bonus track off Femme Fatale in 2011. Her fans have been streaming it non-stop…and look what just happened:

Keanu Reeves will be honoured on February 4 at the Saturn Awards – and when you find out what the award is and who it’s named after, you will be emotional… and he won’t even have given his acceptance speech yet. (Uproxx)
As mentioned earlier in today’s site open, Megan Thee Stallion just dropped a new song called “Hiss” and now she and Nicki Minaj are beefing and all of this was blowing up on social media and taking a lot of hype away from someone else who dropped a sh-tty new song and announced a tour. As for this situation between Megan and Nicki? Megan’s song is blazing with attitude and aggression and from where I’m sitting, I’m with Meg. (The Cut)
What I said this week about Miss Sohee also applies to Gaurav Gupta – not sure why we don’t see more Gaurav Gupta on the major award show red carpets. My wish list for Gaurav Gupta at the Grammys would be SZA, Dua Lipa, and Taylor Swift. Cardi wore Gaurav Gupta to the Grammys last year and it was a moment! So I’m surprised more people haven’t caught on. Like JLo. Gaurav Gupta designs are perfect for her. For the SAGs, BAFTAs, and Oscars, my pick in Gaurav Gupta would be Margot Robbie or Danielle Brooks. Here’s the latest collection. (Go Fug Yourself)
This story about how Mark Ruffalo discovered he had a brain tumour years ago is f-cking me up. Because I am a hypochondriac and I always think that something is wrong with me. Anyway, sorry, I just made it about myself because in addition to being a hypochondriac, I guess I’m also a narcissist. Meanwhile Mark is fine now and an Oscar nominee again. Ironman and Hulk are going to the Oscars! (Cele|bitchy)
Argylle opens next week and I was just in London covering the junket for ETALK. There’s a whole conspiracy theory around the movie based on the novel by a writer called Elly Conway and Swifties think that Elly is actually Taylor Swift. I may have linked to this before but since the movie is coming out soon, the conversation around this theory is picking up, even though the filmmakers and actors have denied the Taylor Swift association…although obviously it helps because, you know, Swifties are giving the movie free promotion.
