The Stella McCartney fall collection is called “Laptop to LapDance” with a campaign starring Eva Mendes. The show notes explained that it aimed to “explore the duality of the modern working woman—balancing structure with seduction” and the presentation was set in an office with computers and poles. It’s meant to be provocative, with a strong bent to 80s power dressing, but I find it hard to believe Stella McCartney has ever had to work in a cubicle. Or give a lap dance. Or received a lap dance.
I don’t pay super close attention to this brand because it’s not my style but since buying the business back from LVMH, the campaigns and collaborations have been all over the place. These are great shots of Eva though. The red dress is perfect on her.
Ireland Baldwin gives a very heartfelt shout-out to her stepmom Hilaria, who is gearing up for Dancing with the Stars. This will do 100x more for Hilaria’s image than any fluff piece. So how long until she does something totally bonkers to remind us about, how do you say in English?, cucumber!

Goop is hosting a skin care truck on Bond Street and who is doing this marketing? It’s SO BAD. Is this supposed to be a play on the milkman? What does this have to do with luxury skin care!
