Not sure if I’ve ever mentioned this but I like Suki Waterhouse’s music. Not sure why there’s a “but” in there… but… maybe it’s because she first became famous as a model and we know her from gossip and who she’s dated so there are some people who didn’t take her music seriously? I know I didn’t at first until I really made a point of listening to it when “Good Looking” went viral a few years ago and I had no idea that it was her, and then was surprised to find out it was her when I hit repeat on the song.

My current favourite Suki song is “OMG” from her last album, Memoir of a Sparklemuffin. But “OMG” is not an outlier, in general I’m just into her glam-grunge 90s sound. So, yes, I will be paying attention in July when she drops her new album, Loveland, just announced yesterday.

The first single is coming on Friday, “Tiny Raisin”, and before I heard the snippet – at least I think it’s the snippet from the second slide of that IG post – I thought maybe it was about her daughter with Robert Pattinson, LOL, because babies come out all wrinkled and smash-faced.

The lyrics, however, don’t suggest anything maternal.

“That's my man, hot damn
We gonna break up, make up, do it all over again
F-ck yeah
We gonna talk sh-t, crash out, laugh it off”

So far I’m into this too.

Suki was seen yesterday with Robert Pattinson and their child after going for pizza in LA. She’s now two years old and they’ve managed to keep her name off the internet. This is how you know that Suki and RP don’t f-ck around with randoms and clearly have a pretty tight circle of trust.
