Chloe Sevigny is an It Girl but she’s also a paid woman – she does quite a few endorsements but without the hustle vibe. I don’t blame her; she gets the brands press, so why not capitalize off it? Sure she gets a lot of free clothes, but free clothes aren’t cash flow and everyone needs to pay their electricity bill. 

Here she is for Jimmy Choo, which probably took a day or two to shoot and made her bucket of money. That’s a slay. 

The bodysuit is by Eres. It costs over $900, I wonder if she got to keep it?

Is The Studio the best-dressed show on TV?

Yes, maybe. There is a very defined aesthetic and I have linked to the NYT story on it from April and GQ specifically covered Seth Rogan’s suits. Costumes are a character. 

This specific request is for Quinn Hackett (Chase Sui Wonders), a hot young exec who gives Ike Barinholtz hives (you can read more about her in W ). This article also happened to use the shirt I received a request for (GREAT choice Danielle). I sometimes do my searches really late at night when the mood strikes and I found a note that said “Thom Browne previous season, only on reseller” and…now I can’t find it. REALLY helpful but I will track down this exact one. 

Where is this blouse? It’s like the algorithm is hiding it from me because it knows we want it too much.

Stacey London is back to dress people

Stacey London and Clinton Kelly had a hit makeover show, then fell out, then went through some personal shit, and are now back with Wear Whatever the F you Want. This new show is a reflection of how personal improvement has shifted; it is no longer acceptable to tell a woman she is a troll and the only hope for her hideous corporal form is a French manicure, a layered bob and a cork wedge. Now it’s about reinforcing authenticity rather than transforming. I don’t blame Stacey and Clinton for the switch-up; both shows are a product of their cultural moment. And I don’t knock them for reuniting for TV because getting a show on TV is very hard and Stacey has been very forthcoming about money troubles she’s had. That’s the real deal.
