The King premiered in New York last night and the film’s king, Timothee Chalamet, showed up in a beautifully cut black suit over a yellow mock turtleneck. Like, stop it. STOP. He’s so f-cking pretty, I can’t stand it.
Timmy was there with the film’s cast and crew, including director David Michod and Joel Edgerton, and Lily-Rose Depp. They didn’t pose together but they spoke up and down on the red carpet about working together, admiring each other’s work, and they were seen hanging out in NYC a week ago so if you were wondering (I was) if there’s been any change, the answer is no, they’re still together, they’re still adorable together.
As adorable as Timmy and his new BFF, The Weeknd? Joanna wrote about them partying together at TIFF – remember, Timothee didn’t have a film at TIFF, he just showed up as a film geek, to see movies. Including the Safdie Brothers’ Uncut Gems, starring Adam Sandler featuring a cameo by The Weeknd and he and Abel hung out together at the after-party. Uncut Gems is also screening at the NY Film Festival but Abel came a couple of days early to support Timmy:
Greta Gerwig was also there to support her Laurie:
And then there’s the matter of Batman and Robin. The new Batman for Millennials, Robert Pattinson, who plays the Dauphin in The King, was not there last night and hasn’t attended any events for The King, but Timmy was asked to comment on Rob as Batman and ended up offering a Batman-related anecdote of his own:

Is that a “call me, I’m in”? Can you imagine the internet’s reaction if this actually happened? Robert Pattinson as Batman and Timothee Chalamet as Robin?!
