Dear Gossips,

One of the biggest pop culture stories this week was Mille Bobby Brown filing a harassment claim against David Harbour. He’s already getting his sh-t rocked by his soon-to-be-ex-wife, Lily Allen on her West End Girl album, and then MBB’s bullying claim blew up in the midst of his relationship drama. Earlier this week, Lainey wondered if Harbour would turn up to the premiere of Stranger Things season five, and the answer is yes: he did.

As Lainey also pointed out, MBB has not been quiet about her strong dislike for the Daily Mail, which sort of makes you wonder about that scoop they had about her and David Harbour. It’s not so much that I doubt there is friction on the Stranger Things set—I KNOW there is. I’ve heard stories (mostly about competition and cliquishness), enough to make a report about MBB feeling targeted and harassed believable. Add to that Lily Allen spelling out what a jealous, insecure loser David Harbour is, would it be hard to believe that he felt upstaged and overshadowed by his teenaged co-star?

I don’t have a hard time believing there might be some tension, there’s just the Daily Mail of it all. I can’t quite reconcile MBB’s on-the-record hatred of the DM and them getting a major scoop about her business. Unless her people didn’t leak it. If MBB wants the DM out of her business, why would she, or anyone connected to her, offer up such a juicy story? Could be a rogue relative. Every famous person has at least one. Or maybe it didn’t come from her side of the fence. Who else would know about David Harbour maybe being the subject of a workplace harassment claim? And might not care about getting some dirt on his name? Food for thought.

Anyway, the premiere brought out all the Stranger Things stars, including MBB and Harbour, who did the step and repeat together.

SO MUCH FUUUUUUNNNNNN

I’m sure body language experts will be out in droves, Sharing Opinions on what these poses mean. I think it means either 1) there is no problem, or 2) they are both good actors. It’s also possible that whatever tension existed has since been resolved. What I really get from their appearance together is that we’re probably never going to know for sure. They’re sweeping it under the rug.

For contrast, let’s enjoy Winona Ryder and her dishy partner, Scott Mackinlay Hahn. I bet they have amazing dinner parties.

Honestly? The vibe I’m getting from Stranger Things’ final season promo is just that everyone is ready for this to be over. It’s been a full decade since they made season one, the kid cast are now actual adults. I know I make jokes about how all the Stranger Things kids look like they have mortgages and divorces under their belts, but check out Priah Ferguson, who plays Lucas’s little sister, Erica:

I’m not even talking about the skin-baring dress, that’s whatever. I grew up in the era of crop top prom dresses, I don’t care about that. Look at her FACE. Her fully grown FACE. If they ever make a Destiny’s Child biopic, she’s playing Kelly, right? She could, because she’s GROWN. Stranger Things has been going so long I am now nostalgic for the time when the kid cast were actual kids.

Live long and gossip,

Sarah
