Viola Davis was honoured by the NAACP on Friday night in LA. Orange looks amazing on her. And the accessories are beautiful too. But the breasts all out like that and so, um, smushed... I just think maybe it cheapens someone who is never, ever cheap.

Much better on Sunday at the Writers Guild Awards, lovely in black and white by RAOUL, with Octavia Spencer, who also seems to be collecting an award every weekend, with The Help director Tate Taylor. Will it be Octavia and Viola again on stage in 6 days at the Oscars?

It’s looking more and more like it. Despite her best efforts, and Harvey’s too, Meryl might not be able to catch her in time.
