Pamela Anderson: unsingle and sheer
In case you missed it, Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson are, indeed, dating. This is the ship we are all sailing on, yes? Nobody is bitching about this summer love and we’re all rooting for it to be a love for all the seasons to come, right? Let the movie be a hit too so that they can keep riding this wave of warmth and positivity.
Here’s Pam today in New York continuing to promote The Naked Gun. It’s great to see her get the leading lady treatment on a summer release. This is always what she wanted – and I don’t necessarily mean the attention and the VIP part of it, but to be headlining a big movie, as an actor, and not a bombshell.
I just need to talk about the footwear and the tights combination here. Because it’s a strappy sandal with sheer black tights and on anyone else I would hate it. A full sock with a strappy sandal is good, an opaque tight is acceptable, I guess, but sheer? Normally I cannot condone the black sheer with the open toe, it’s a sin in my books. But she is so endearing and we all want so much good for Pam these days, I can’t find it in me to be mad. If she wants to wear black sheer with open toe, so be it, let her be the only one who can. That is her power in 2025!

Speaking of Kate, she and Prince William were apparently on a yacht holiday in Greece and for some reason there’s a whole mystery surrounding it. (Celebitchy)
A lot of people saw The Fantastic Four this weekend, including me. I did not, however, at any point during the movie, think about Ben having sex. This is off-brand for me because I’m always trying to watch people have sex on screen. So I appreciate Jodi Walker’s piece for The Ringer about how Ben aka The Thing could possibly have sex because he dresses and walks around the place like he very much could f-ck if he has the time, when he’s not childcaring and saving the world. (The Ringer)
Vulture is ranking Adam Sandler’s movies and it’s also an Adam Sandler appreciation post. A lot of good points here and why it’s probably unfair to say that “he makes bad movies” and call it a day. (Even though some of them are SO bad and lazy, sorry.) (Vulture)
