The Prada 2 crew back at it

Days after seeing Anne Hathaway on the set of The Devil Wears Prada 2, Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci have also been spotted as well. What do we call Miranda Priestly’s haircut? It’s not a c-nty bob, but like…a bitchy pixie?

Don’t worry, Annie was there, too, sporting another great working woman look as Andy:

Runway is a toxic workplace nightmare—I bet it has its own Reddit subthread devoted to employee horror stories—but there is no question working there did wonders for Andy’s personal style. Which I’m sure Miranda Priestly will say straight to her face, LOL. 

Honestly, the thing I am most excited about in this sequel is who Andy is dating twenty years later. Nate sucked, he made Andy’s life harder and more stressful, he shamed her for trying to work her way sideways into the job she actually wanted—which worked, by the way!—and was just generally unsympathetic and unsupportive. A huge reason Prada sticks in my mind has nothing to do with cerulean or Miranda Priestly, it’s that a 2000s film showed a woman exiting a relationship as a positive. Adrian Grenier isn’t returning for the sequel, and Andy will have a new love interest.

Andy’s new man will be played by Patrick Brammall, the co-creator and star of the Australian rom-dramedy, Colin From Accounts. An Aussie fella? Andy really has upgraded her whole life.
