Who is paying for Just Andrew’s defiant lawsuit?
Not that anyone actually believed that Just Andrew, the no-title brother of the king of England, and the British royal family f-ckup, would be content to keep a low profile and spend the rest of his days in comfortable obscurity… but now we have confirmation that he has been stewing in resentment and defiance in the months since he was arrested. And taking the matter to court.
Andrew was arrested earlier this year on “suspicion of misconduct in public office” after the Epstein files further revealed the closeness of their relationship, prompting accusations that when Andrew held his position as UK trade envoy, he may have been sharing privileged information with Jeffrey Epstein.
Andrew is now challenging the legality of the arrest warrants that allowed police to raid his home(s) – one of which he’s now been kicked out of. In addition to authorities going through his residences looking for evidence, Andrew was also held in custody for eleven hours. It was one of the most embarrassing British royal scandals ever, in a family that can’t stop with the scandals, peaking with a photograph of him in the back of the police car.
That photo was published around the world and it’s been republished with the news that Andrew is suing the Thames Valley police, which is probably not what he wants to happen, given that his humiliation is at the root of this legal action; but for the media and the gossips, it’s an unexpected bonus. Congratulations you f-ckwit.
But the stupidly self-righteous sanctimony is textbook for the Windsor Buffoon. By now enough about Andrew has been revealed for many of us to be familiar with his personality – he is entitled and arrogant and spoiled, and at the height of his influence walked around expecting to be worshipped at every moment. There is no question that he would have been spectacularly indignant about the arrest and even more so when his brother the king issued a statement from Buckingham Palace that basically amounted to “I don’t know her”.
So it must be a f-cking headache now as King Charles and the British royals, after weeks of headlines related to Charles Spencer’s Diana book, spilling all the tea about how the then Prince Charles was an insensitive narcissist in the days following Diana’s death, have to deal with Just Andrew, the family shame, shouting from exile that he’s been wronged.
Because while the affairs of the British royal family are rather polarising where the king, his consort, and his two sons and their partners are concerned, the public appetite for f-ckass Andrew is pretty unanimous. He was seen, even before the Epstein association became mainstream knowledge, as a useless mess with malfunctioning sweat glands and even worse judgement. Nobody is riding at dawn for his innocence.
He’s volunteering himself as a headache, once again, for his family. And that’s just one part of the cost. There’s also the matter of the actual cost – who is paying for this??? Per The Guardian, last October, before the arrest, and around the time that he was stripped of his titles and asked to leave Royal Lodge:
“This is a man who has lived a life of luxury for decades, been an outcast for years because of his association with Jeffrey Epstein, yet has no visible means of financial support.
Even King Charles is said to be unsure about some of the sources of his brother’s income, particularly how he finds the significant sums of money needed to afford the upkeep of his home, the 30-room Royal Lodge.
The disgraced prince has been able to keep his financial affairs from the public for years through a mixture of the traditional secrecy which envelops the Windsors and the confidentiality of his dealings with wealthy, mainly foreign, people.”
Money is always a major PR problem for King Charles and the British royal institution. It is a huge problem, or would be a huge problem, if Charles was bankrolling his brother’s legal quest for exoneration, considering that for sure he was hanging out with Jeffrey Epstein when the sex trafficking ring was in operation; and his estranged wife was taking money from Epstein; and that photo of him with the late Virginia Roberts Giuffre was widely circulated – and she maintained right up to her death that Andrew was a participant.
So. Assuming, generously, that the king and the royal institution are not funding Andrew’s lawsuit – where is his money coming from? The shady billionaires he’s been ass-kissing for decades? Billionaires and other wealthy and clandestine syndicates with ulterior motives?
Most of the headlines today regarding this legal action have to do with his claims, another textbook deflection tactic designed to manipulate public opinion. Nobody has started following the money trail. And if the f-cking British tabloids actually want to be useful, for once, maybe they can figure out how the British royal family flop can somehow pay for his latest attempt at a comeback.
