Who is the actress who yelled at Sophie Turner for flirting with her fiancé at Comic-Con ten years ago?

Sophie Turner told Seth Meyers a story about an actress yelling at her for allegedly flirting with her fiancé, a solid talk show anecdote. Sophie said she cannot name this person or she would get in “big trouble” but she also included some key details, like it happened at a Comic-Con afterparty 10 years ago.

So if someone were to look through photos of Comic-Con 2015 they could theoretically find a couple that was there, both famous (her more than him at the time) and engaged but never married. Theoretically, of course. (Also the way people think this is Sydney Sweeney, who wasn’t even close to famous 10 years ago, concerns me greatly. Open the schools!)

In 2022, Dua Lipa fired her management team and hired her father to take over. We’ve heard many stories over the years of parents stealing from their famous children, making exploitive deals, and mishandling their careers. But for Dua Lipa, the management change seemed to work in her favour because she is glowing. She toured this summer and is now on a break. She’s not doing multiple brand deals or at every fashion show or constantly in a promo cycle. She works and then takes time off to enjoy the benefits of that work.

This morning, PEOPLE Magazine led with a story on Taylor Swift and Blake Lively because, apparently, they are not on speaking terms. I’m inclined to believe PEOPLE over an outlet like the Daily Mail because there would be no benefit in the long term for PEOPLE to piss off Tree Paine.

With Taylor going into a promo cycle, every outlet will be fighting for exclusives and sources. Social media isn’t everything but it’s also not nothing and the cooling of the public relationship does line up with the PEOPLE story. It’s not an explosive feud but Blake and Ryan are not liking Taylor’s posts and people in Taylor’s circle are not liking Blake’s posts.

Bella Hadid, two Jenners and Hailey Bieber hit the town in LA and it got me thinking that this kind of “going out” culture is so lost. In the early aughts it was very common for packs of celebrities to be out seven nights a week, ready to be photographed. Hoping for it! The nightlife culture has changed so much but this got me thinking: Hailey, Bella and the KarJenners are LA-based while the other power group, led by Taylor Swift and featuring Gigi Hadid and Selena Gomez, are often in New York. And there’s so much bad blood between the two groups. Pun intended. I’m very into both of these packs and think they should all get in car together like Lindsay, Britney and Paris did so many years ago.
