Intro for November 27, 2025

Dear Gossips,   

A new teaser for Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour docuseries was released yesterday, this time targeted for a gossip audience. Because the focus of this preview was TNT. Which actually makes sense on multiple levels. To drive interest, certainly. That’s obvious. But there’s also narrative justification for it too. Because, of course, if it wasn’t for The Eras Tour, Taylor and Travis Kelce would have never happened. 

Travis went to see Taylor perform at Arrowhead Stadium, and wanted to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number, then he talked about feeling “butthurt” that she didn’t want to meet him. She was on tour through the first year and a half of their relationship, and he joined her for part of it, and made a cameo at one of the stops. So if the documentary is about The Eras Tour, and what was happening in front of and behind the camera, what it brought to the fans, and what it gave to Taylor – literally her future husband. It works as part of the storytelling. 

So will there be a proper premiere? There was a premiere two years ago when The Eras Tour movie opened in theatres, the event was held at the Grove and Beyoncé showed up. I’m curious to see if there’s anything planned, and if there is, if it’ll be the first time, officially, we see TNT posing together on a red carpet. Like a real red carpet, Hollywood style, because back in the summer they walked down a red carpet at Tight End University but as I said at the time… that doesn’t qualify. Saving their red carpet debut for this occasion, for a series about her tour, in which he also has a role, seems kinda right… right?
