Zendaya spent the fall in Boston, working on Kristoffer Borgli’s upcoming film, The Drama, co-starring Robert Pattinson. It’s about an engaged couple in crisis after one person reveals the worst thing they ever did. This is an A24 filming starring two huge names. I’m almost more excited about the press tour than I am about the movie. Almost. Obviously I can’t wait to see Zendaya and Robert in a romance. But also, I can’t wait to see them in an interview, especially since Rob is now known for being one of the most chaotic junket celebrities.
Principal photography on The Drama has now wrapped, just in time for the holidays, and the cast and crew were at a party to celebrate over the weekend.

I laughed out loud when I saw Rob’s t-shirt. Oasis is a band and a comedy at this point now, right? So will be Rob – and perhaps Suki Waterhouse – be at one of the Wembley shows next summer? Or will they see them in LA?
As for Zendaya, she didn’t seem to be in too much of a rush to get out of Boston as she and Tom Holland were papped yesterday heading towards Newbury Street perhaps to do some shopping. Tom has been with her in Boston through the duration of The Drama shoot which is not unusual for them. He joins her often on location, when he can. And then of course there’s the bonus of working on the same thing at the same time. This is what part of their 2025 will be as they’ve both been cast in Christopher Nolan’s next project, going into production in the first part of 2025 and then, in the summer, the new Spider-Man movie.
But first the holidays and then award season. Zendaya was nominated for a Golden Globe last week for her performance in Challengers. She’s also, of course, part of the Dune team and that film should be a factor, at least in the tech categories, heading into the Oscars. She and Law Roach, I would imagine, are already working on that Globes look. They would have to be – the Globes less than three weeks away!
