There was another Blink Twice screening in New York last night ahead of its premiere on Friday. Reviews are starting to come out now and they’re solid (Sarah’s will be posted tomorrow) – like no one’s calling it a masterpiece but most are saying that Zoë Kravitz’s feature film directorial debut is a confident, promising effort.

And that’s how I’m reading these photos from the after-party last night where Zoë and Channing Tatum were surrounded by friends who all seem really, really happy/proud/impressed by her. Like Austin who, in my mind, is telling her that she f-cking killed it in this shot.

Same goes for Natasha Lyonne. I know they could be talking about anything but the scene, for me, is basically Natasha pumping up Zoë, like, girl, you crushed this, you really crushed it, what a f-cking debut!

And then there’s Shaboozey whose “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” is once again #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the sixth non-consecutive week, undeniably one of the biggest songs of the year, there’s no escaping it and also no wanting to escape it either.

It’s been a couple of weeks since the gossip about Shaboozey and Emily Ratajkowski hooking up and these are the first shots I’ve seen of them together. I mean if we didn’t know that they were a thing, it’s not like these shots would suggest it… but they are indeed having a moment, and I love this for him – a hit song and an entrance into the gossip landscape, Shaboozey’s 2024 keeps getting better.
