Allison Williams doesn’t usually do it for me on a red carpet. And I don’t often enjoy a red dress on a red carpet either. Especially this shade of red, where you can’t tell the difference between the dress and the carpet. Also, tulle. Don’t have much time for it.
But I quite like this choice. It’s Giambattista Valli. It’s so pretty the way the tulle comes out like a step. And from some angles the step is a wave, advancing on a cliff. And for once at an event she’s not doing a strapless. The t-shirt cut with the black trim is a nice change for her, don’t you think? It might be her best dress of all time so far.
