Marion Cotillard and Guillaume Canet were photographed with their son and some friends last week in France. Fortuitous that these photos were released just yesterday. Because now that Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from Brad Pitt there will be a lot of speculation about whether or not Marion had anything to do with it. As you can see, Marion and Guillaume are still together. And, even though Angelina seems to be taking the position that Brad’s actions precipitated this breakup, calling into question his parenting approach, there will likely be a lot of tabloid suspicion that Brad was cheating on her with Marion while they worked on Allied. Page Six is already reporting that Marion and Brad were hooking up and were busted after Angelina hired a private detective.
When I was smutty sensing this story back in June, Marion had nothing to do with the trouble between Brange. My sources at the time waved away any questions about Marion and infidelity on Brad’s part. So, for what it’s worth, if my report in June is worth any weight, cheating is not the story here.
