Finally. Something to do with Johnny Depp and The Tourist and he doesn’t look like a bloated loser, the way he’s presented in the trailer. You don’t think I want to enjoy Johnny and the Jolie, together for the first time, the way we all expect it? Don’t be ridiculous. I’m just saying that trailer scares me. I’m just saying I wish there was more of this Johnny, the one that covers the new Vanity Fair (see photos attached), in it.

Yes he talks about working with Angelina. No, thanks God, he does not nauseatingly call her a “poem”, the way he did in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. But he did compare her to Ms Elizabeth Taylor, which I know, for you Jolie haters, will make you want to swallow your own tongue:

“I’ve had the honor and the pleasure and gift of having known Elizabeth Taylor for a number of years. You know, you sit down with her, she slings hash, she sits there and cusses like a sailor, and she’s hilarious. Angie’s got the same kind of thing, you know, the same approach.”

It’s not a bad article so far, actually. I enjoy reading about his f-ck you attitude with Disney. Click here for more. And of course VF is always great about photo retrospectives. Now this is where you should be wasting your time. Click here.

Back in the day, Vanity Fair took some beautiful beautiful photographs of Johnny with Winona Ryder. F-ck, I almost can’t look at her anymore. Like last night at the Gotham Awards. Everything is wrong, right? The hair, her bugged out eyes, the length of that dress, wrong, wrong, wrong.

Interesting quote she gave while promoting Black Swan recently too when addressing a scene in which she, a has-been ballerina, is a total bitch to Natalie Portman:

"I wrote to Natalie and got her something when I had finished filming, saying 'I'm so sorry I had to say all those horrible things. The scene where I trash my dressing room was my last scene. I remember my first boyfriend used to smash everything - at 18 everything is dramatic."

Is this about Johnny? I’d like to think so. Theirs was not a calm, low intensity love. Sigh. Gossip nostalgia.
