Kristen Stewart was photographed in New York yesterday on the set of a new independent film called Anesthesia. She’s expected to work a short few days. It’s the latest in a series of indie projects for Stewart. Reminds me of what Sarah wrote in her Stewart Career Prospectus a few months ago:
“What is her brand going to be? Fashion girl, indie darling, worldwide leading lady? Fine, great, whatever. Just pick something and focus all energy on moving toward that goal.”
Indie darling then?
It was reported yesterday that Stewart will start shooting American Ultra with Jesse Eisenberg in April. They previously worked together on Adventureland. American Ultra is about a stoner and his girlfriend who piss off the government. So…a lot of fast-talking and lip-biting? It’s a comedy, so perhaps that level of self-awareness here would be funny?
Stewart wasn’t the only Twilight alumna in New York yesterday. Some of her castmates were also in the city promoting the Twilight Forever Fan Experience Exhibit at Planet Hollywood Times Square. I’m assuming from these photos that Twilight memorabilia, like Bella’s wedding dress, will be on display for Twi-Hards to fondle. Nikki Reed, Jackson Rathbone, and Peter Facinelli showed up. Unfortunately Stewart was busy working. Because she totally would have been there if not. Or…she doesn’t need the money as much. Or… she’s totally over it.
