Dear Gossips,
At the beginning of the summer, I was all about Brandon Flowers. Posted about him whenever I could. Jacek would come upstairs and find me in bed, watching old BFlow videos. But I’m fickle. My crushes aren’t self-sustaining. They need to be fed. And when they aren’t fed, I forget. Which is why I haven’t written about Brandon in almost 3 months – last time was May 27th.
A couple of weeks ago, BFlow cancelled several tour dates. On Twitter he explained that his family needed him. I thought then that I might be done for a while, at least until a new Killers album comes out. But then Billboard put him front and centre in their Music Men of Style feature. And yesterday he showed up at the National Clean Energy Summit. It was in Vegas so he didn’t have to go far.
His hair is still long and thick. There’s some grey in it now. And he’s very tanned, looks well. Well, by his standards, of course, means really, really beautiful. But my BFlow problem is definitely a lot less intense than it was. Click here to read about his style in Billboard and to see the other artists. OMG MIGUEL.
Quick programming note: as mentioned yesterday, TIFF screenings have started this week in advance of the festival. Like yesterday, I have another one this morning at 10am.
