Don’t be ridiculous. This is not about Anna Kendrick and Kristen Stewart -- why would you think that? The title tells you everything you need to know. Obviously the title refers to Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz.

Last month Lutz declared during a magazine interview that he would win an Oscar one day. Click here for a refresher.

This month, Ashley Greene declared during an interview with Seventeen Magazine that in the next five years she “wants to win an Oscar or an Emmy”. Click here for more from Greene in Seventeen.

What is this epidemic? Oscar-winning is a self-prediction that seems to be spreading at an alarming rate among the untalented. And while the Academy is certainly flawed, it’s certainly not the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. When has the Academy ever given any reason to believe that Oscar is easy? Oscar has never been easy. Ask Annette Bening. And Julianne Moore. Ask Matthew McConaughey who’s been hungry for a year and might not even be considered when the time comes.

But still the Ashley Greenes and the Kellan Lutzes of the world toss that sh-t off like it’s a travel destination:

One day I want to go to India = One day I want to win an Oscar

But, no, really, I want to know -- how do they do it? How does Ashley Greene go from her movie Apparition reviewing at 0% -- that’s ZERO PERCENT -- on Rotten Tomatoes while continually being only sent scripts for sh-tty horror movies to believing an Oscar might be a possibility???

My ma never taught me that skill. Did my ma fail me?

Here they are, Twilight’s two future Oscar winners, Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene, at the big premiere of Twilight 5 last night in LA.

And here they are, in what will surely be Oscar archival footage one day, demonstrating their burgeoning Oscar potential in a scene that even Streep and Pacino would probably struggle with.
