Dear Gossips,
Drake showed up at the Much Music Video Awards last night in Toronto, hosted by Ed Sheeran. It was a surprise. He was there to honour and celebrate his boy P Reign who really didn’t expect Drake to show, as he said afterwards that:
“I honestly didn’t know (he’d be here). He doesn’t make a lot of things I ask him to be at, so let’s just put that out there. I thought there was no way in hell.”
I mean his outfit alone would suggest it; Duana’s probably already bought that “6” hoodie online. She LOVES Drake. And she LOVES Toronto. Another reason P Reign was probably genuinely shocked - Drake was in Atlanta performing the night before coming home. And, you know, he could have just flown back to LA for another party in the foam pool. As I mentioned last week in Smutty Tingles, that was the moment I realised I’ve never lived. It’s not just being invited to one, it’s being invited to one at the age where you should be invited to one.
By the way, at one point, while on stage, a propos of nothing, Drake shouted out Gigi Hadid, the model of the moment:
“Gigi Hadid you’re a sweetie pie tonight”
They’ve been friends for a while. She’s only just 20 now. Like he would have known her from when she was just 16 or 17 years old. Right now, Gigi is dealing with Joe Jonas. Which would mean it’s the perfect big brother moment for Drake to be like…um… are you sure? PS. Last names should be emblazoned across the back of every item of clothing.
