I told Duana that she’s going to love the video I’m about to show. It’s Julia Roberts at the premiere of Secret In Their Eyes with Chiwetel Ejiofor. The movie opens on November 20th. You know what else opens that day? Katniss Everdeen. Good Morning America asked Julia about Jennifer Lawrence this week, specifically Jennifer’s comments about the gender pay gap and this was Julia’s response:
"She's a young, fabulous, talented whippersnapper and I love that she's stirring things up. I mean, she just – she's so energetic and seems to speak her mind, and I think it's great. I think it's great to kind of shake things up. I think it's great to go, 'Excuse me. Over here. I know something now and I'm frustrated by it and why is this?' "
Maybe I’m just in a good mood from Missy but I’m not reading a patronising tone here from Julia. I mean, I was expecting to. But I can’t find it. Can you?
Don’t be disappointed though. Because she does come up with one later on when describing her favourite subject: herself.
