One of the things Lainey’s always eager to talk about during awards season is the idea that celebs can be holding back, or banking, their best dresses—or alternately, spending them earlier if they don’t think they’re going to get a lot of play on the big night.

Then there’s this – Naomie Harris’s Lanvin satin jumpsuit that is the kind of thing that could only be worn to the SAG awards. I don’t think it’s going to stand the test of time, exactly – there are hints of wrinkles and something about that chain-and-flower combination is not working out the way it should – but I love the vibe of it anyway, and half the people who see it today are going to be all ‘Who was that girl in the lovely pajamas?’ and then go see Moonlight. We hope. So really, this post is just an ode to pajamas. Come to think of it, how did Lainey let me write this one anyway?
