Serena Williams won the Cincinnati Masters yesterday which is the last warmup before the US Open. She lost last week in Toronto so it was a nice comeback to build momentum heading to New York. No jinx. No jinx. NO JINX.

But first… a little time to celebrate before turning her focus to the final slam of the year.

With some friends. Including Drake. Who was there to support her. And who was apparently there to make out with her. TMZ has the story and the photos – click here to see. According to onlookers, Serena and Drake were there with 6 friends and were very close, even kissing at one point.

So has she moved him from the “friend zone” to the “more” zone? And what happened to Patrick Mouratoglou? (Click here for a refresher on their situation.) Even PEOPLE was calling Patrick her “rumoured boyfriend” back in July, just after she won Wimbledon. This makes me uneasy. Because Patrick is her coach. And Serena does not need to be having coach drama right before the US Open, especially not now, not this year.

That said, Patrick tweeted a lovely message after Serena’s win yesterday:

Maybe they’re all chill then. Maybe there’s no problem. Maybe, since they all want the same thing, the only thing, there are no issues here.

Just. Win.
