Amanda Seyfried’s divorce was dropped on a post-Emmys Tuesday and as of right now, is pretty much a non-story. She even posted a story about him yesterday.
Lena Dunham and Luis Felber are new parents and it’s not an Instagram surprise, it’s a whole Vogue essay about shopping for baby clothes.
Kelly Osbourne is talking about her estrangement from her sister Aimee, who was never part of The Osbournes TV show and has always avoided fame and publicity. It’s kind of a dink move of Kelly to continue to talk about Aimee when Aimee doesn’t participate in that whole game. Looking back at their reality TV fame, it’s also kind of astounding that a teenage Aimee had the wherewithal to not be drawn into the allure of fame and popularity. She was barely old enough to drive and was making decisions that would impact her entire adult life.
There’s two “everyone knows exactly what they are doing” ad campaigns that have come to my attention: Reformation and Olivia Jade and Sydney Sweeney for a betting app (which Stephanie wrote about here). In Oliva’s case I guess it could be funny but there’s something about her that’s a bit…blank. The lights are on but nobody’s home.
A few days ago I thought Miley Cyrus was the frontrunner for the Super Bowl but now apparently Justin Bieber and Harry Styles are also in the mix. All three acts would make sense but I think Harry would be the most likely. He’s on tour so has a lot of the infrastructure needed, like a band and a crew. Justin hasn’t toured in years but he did do Coachella, which is massive but not quite the heavy lift of the Super Bowl which is essentially a concert that needs to prioritize the television audience.
She is truly the last of the supers. It’s the aura.
