As Seen On Social Media: Chloe Grace Moretz (again!), SJP’s book look
Chloe Grace Moretz’s fashion run
Lainey was just talking about Chloe Grace Moretz, who has been killing it on the fashion front and is about to launch a very interesting makeup line with Rina Sawayama.
I was asked about the jacket she’s wearing in the photo below and luckily, she tagged her post. There are two possibilities: Louis Vuitton or Fidan Novruzova. I am definitely thinking it’s the latter, though this exact jacket isn’t available…yet (SS26, maybe?). There’s some similar bomber jacket-shirt hybrids here and on sale from Isabel Marant.
SJP reminds us she is that bitch
With And Just Like That… a distant and painful memory, Sarah Jessica Parker has had a teeny bit of space from Carrie Bradshaw. This year, she was a Booker Prize judge and although very smart and good books are the point of the video, the outfit is really good, too.
I was asked about shirt, jeans and shoes. I think the shirt is Alexander Wang (she wore him recently). It’s a simple design so difficult to pinpoint, but I have a strong hunch it is this one (this is the white, and since the blue is sold out, it likely was); the key to this look is its airiness, it’s not stiff cotton. This top from H&M could hang in a similar way.
The jeans are unique because they are skintight, which is quite different than the balloon leg, wide leg and straight leg that are popular right now. These Frame x Carolina Herrera jeans are a possibility and quite pricey. To dupe the look, you want something with a lot of stretch, probably a cotton blend like this pair from Simon’s. The shoes are most definitely Nomasei sandals.
Martha Stewart in a matching set
The matchy-matchy velour set that is popular with the rich mom school run crew has nothing to do with Juicy Couture (which, let’s face it, never really made a comeback). I’ve spotted this Suzie Kondi matching set on a few people and it’s pretty lush and for the price, it should be. What’s kind of crazy is that the top is $355, and the pants are $497. Yes, each. And most sizes and colours are sold out. There’s not a lot of dupes, but Aritzia does make a pair of velour pants and zip-up jacket. Zara’s doing a bit of fancy velour this year as well.
