Madonna is saving Britney!

Rumours were swirling that Chicken Fried Stupid would be appearing on tour with Her Madgesty… clarification: Britney has taped a piece that will run during Madge’s Sticky & Sweet tour kicking off August 23 in Cardiff.

The segment was shot yesterday, the two were together – confirmed by publicists for both  – and a well timed deflection on Madonna’s part too, considering this mess with Alex Rodriguez.

I have my tickets for Madge in Toronto – do you have yours? Am told a final set list has yet to be decided. She"s still testing choreography right now for 5 or 6 songs to be cut down to 3. Will keep you posted.

And her brother, Christopher Ciccone - the one who"s selling her out with the explosive tell-all - will appear on Good Morning America July 15th to pimp his book.

These are trying times for Madonna...just the way she likes it. Girl is a glutton for punishment.
