A few days back, SJP posted a video of a large wardrobe room to her Instagram stories and it was clearly from Sex and the City, although she purposely didn’t show too much detail. Page Six is reporting that Patricia Fields, the designer whose work was integral to Sex and the City, will not be returning for latest reiteration. Earlier this week, Kim Cattrall posted this photo of her and Patricia at lunch. How do we get this movie made?
I’m not a sports follower but I do follow author and podcaster Jemele Hill, who is currently being targeted on Twitter because people are twisting her words in the most frustrating way. While talking about former NBA player Kwame Brown (I had to Google him and it led me here), she used the phrase “chose violence.” That is a reference to a popular social media meme (spun from Game of Thrones) and not a literal reference to violence. People pretending not to get that after she clearly explained it is a choice.
To Kwame Brown: I said you CHOSE violence. It’s an expression from Game of Thrones. i didn’t call you violent. Please, and thank you.— Jemele Hill (@jemelehill) May 19, 2021
I didn’t lie. I never said anything critical about Kwame Brown. I made a pop culture reference. DASSIT. You don’t know shit about me to say what I am. You don’t need to cape this hard for some bullshit. https://t.co/i8hbB1w7US— Jemele Hill (@jemelehill) May 21, 2021
You know who woke up and chose violence? The Playlist social media manager.
Is it me or does Jessica Chastain look like a ginger Matthew McConaughey.
We know PEOPLE is celebrity-sanctioned and has well-placed, sources, which is why this quote about Naomi Campbell’s new baby made me gasp with joy: "And anyone who's surprised Naomi is having a baby on her own, her own way, and on her own timetable doesn't know Naomi Campbell," adds the source. "Hasn't she redefined everything she's ever touched?" Usually we’d get “she’s over the moon” or something cliché like that, but she does not allow for basicness from herself in her vicinity.
Kacey Musgraves is in her divorce album era, kicking it off with this in-depth interview in ELLE. She gets very into it, so much so that she probably won’t have to do it again.
Tracy Anderson still has a magazine? O Magazine and Goop don’t even print physical copies of their publications anymore. Does this just get sent people subscribed to her workout streaming service? What’s the ROI on this for the company? It seems like quite an investment.
No vegetable, not even kale, has had a glow-up quite like brussels sprouts. In the 80s, they were one of the most dreaded foods (for adults and kids); how farmers even managed to sell their product during that time is a wonder. But now, they are a popular and even luxurious menu item – deep fried, salads, sauteed. Delicious, right? But has our taste changed because of the way we cook them (thanks to thousands of Internet recipes and home cooking experimentation) or, per this NPR story on seeds, did the brussels sprout itself change?
You can ask Noel Gallagher “anything” about stuff that’s happened in the last ten years, so that means we can’t ask about his brother because they’ve been estranged longer than that.
