Lena Dunham posted about the anniversary of Girls, which is also seeing a lot of traction on Twitter. While making it, Lena worked very closely with co-showrunner Jenni Konner; they seemed inseparable at work, and in life. It fell apart during Camping when Lena went to rehab, she said she needed space – they even released a joint statement, like a conscious uncoupling

Of course both of their careers have gone well (Jenni is the co-runner for the next season of Nobody Wants This) but there is still a kind of lingering question. For neither of them to give a nod to the other when celebrating Girls feels a bit more personal than just a professional split.

Lucas Bravo went Instagram official with Shailene Woodley and I am a fan of this style of launch– the less famous person posts the more famous person and doesn’t tag. He knows we know who she is. And it’s not a knock to call her more famous, please do not tell me about Emily in Paris. (Scroll through carousel.)

This had me screaming with laughter this morning: the Househusband who needs to come in and recap an event is the most awkward person on reality TV. And it always happens around a kitchen island.

This story on Natasha Lyonne working on a film that will make “heavy” use of AI ... I’d like more details on this, I don’t understand.

She co-wrote the script and will star in it as well and THR describes it as blending “traditional live-action and game elements.” Is this just a step up from special effects? I need Sarah to explain to me.

You know who I really and truly think will lead the charge against AI in film? Tom Cruise. He uses his power sparingly but when he does, it works. There are multiple anecdotes of him over the years helping directors and actors, including Jessica Chastain way back in 2017 and Todd Field. He doesn’t want stunt actors to be replaced by robots or location to be green screen.
