Going into a contentious US election cycle and already the celebs have been speaking up: The Rock said he regrets his last endorsement and won’t be doing it again this year. Dennis Quaid said he’s voting for Trump

Now Amy Schumer has made a birthday video asking people to vote for Biden. And I truly, really wonder: does this move the needle for anyone? Like, whose mind is this changing? Amy is another Chris Pratt: her “real-life” success and celebrity friends are very different than her comments section.

Sure we can dunk on TikTok all day but shout out to @god_worthy, who stopped Baz Luhrmann on the street and interviewed him about marriage. Honestly, I don’t know if I’d recognize Baz if he passed me on the street – it actually makes the interview better that way. He’s just a dude she stopped.

@god_worthy

Guys I had no idea this was Baz Luhrmann #streetinterviews #bazluhrmann #godworthy #funny #comedy #sydney

Millie Bobby Brown’s father-in-law spilled the beans on her small wedding and I don’t know if she will post about it. But it seems like she spends a lot of time with the Bongiovi family, which is nice for her. She’s a child star and has spoken about her family moving to LA and her needing to get a job ASAP. Basically the whole “we almost went bankrupt to support her dreams” (in 2016, The Hollywood Reporter had a report of her dad asking for $100k cash bonuses for signing).

I have no idea what her relationship with her parents is like now but with her in-laws, it’s the total opposite of her situation: the dad is famous and the kids are not. The dad is the money maker and the kids are not. Jon Bon Jovi has been a household name for decades. He’s been up and down and seen a lot, so he can relate to his daughter-in-law in a way not many people in the world can.

Mindy Kaling shared a toiletry bag packing tutorial and she is correct – tape is a must. I take it a step further and also put plastic wrap over the lids because when you lose an expensive serum or toner, you never forget.

I had no idea Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are still working on co-parenting agreements for their son– they split in 2015 and didn’t officially divorce until August of 2023. According to the documents, they will attend co-parenting coaching and after a set number of sessions, the coach will decide if they need more. Their son is 10 so they still have many years ahead of them – at least they are still trying to be copacetic. And they’ve kept it very quiet; Page Six definitely did some digging through documents to find this info. There’s no “source” speaking to them about it from either side.

Sarah wrote about Knives Out fantasy casting and all of her ideas were great – my picks are Jon Bernthal, Ayo Edebiri, Arian Moayed  and Jessica Williams. In real casting news, Deadline is reporting Daryl McCormack  has joined the cast. Yes, I see it..
