Babe wake up… a new nepo baby just dropped. James Wilkie Broderick is joining his dad in a guest spot on Elsbeth

I don’t think the Parker-Broderick family will pretend he had to audition because for them, this is a family business.

As the year starts to wind down, the gossip recaps begin. You know who has had a quiet year? Lori Harvey. She’s not trying to be all out there and is very particular with the events she attends. That is of course what makes her more interesting than many of her peers – in a generation of over-sharers, Lori Harvey is downright mysterious.

I watched The Man Inside this weekend and I’m very curious as to why this didn’t end up on network TV. This is a half-hour comedy set in an elderly care facility and starring Ted Danson. It is safe and warm and entertaining – it could easily run for years. This has NBC written all over it. Not to mention, it was created by Michael Schur, who was a producer and writer on The Office and co-created Parks and Rec.

I need to read a story on how this was developed and sold. If this is the kind of show NBC is passing on, they need an intervention.

This morning Lainey wrote about the Matthew McConaughey tuna salad and I’d try the apples because he also included chopped pickles, a must. I’ve also changed to tuna canned in oil and have ditched tuna canned in water, which I think is a holdover from the “low fat” diet culture of the 90s. Here he is making a steak with Gordon Ramsay. For a minute, Matthew talked about running for political office but I think he’s pivoting to foodie influencer instead.

In a Menendez brothers update, their resentencing has been pushed back until January so Kim Kardashian has probably had her Christmas party photo op plans dashed. Yesterday I mentioned Lyle and his wife split up; the update on that is he is dating a 21-year-old (but his ex isn’t mad and is still running his Facebook). His girlfriend wasn’t even born when he went to prison, which is like when Leo dates someone who wasn’t born when Titanic came out. Anyway, back to Kim: she thought this Tesla photo shoot would eat. I live in a city with a very high number of Teslas, it seems like every second car on the road is a Tesla and there are Cybertrucks here and there, so I guess I don’t get the shock value. The robot looks like it was designed by someone who watched a lot of 80s sci-fi.
