Earlier, I suggested that Tessa Thompson and Chris Hemsworth were making me re-evaluate my Chris rankings. I even had the audacity to imply that Hemsworth could outrank Pine. For this, I sincerely apologize. My Best Chris attended the European premiere of his new movie Outlaw King at the London Film Festival in a gorgeous grey three-piece suit. Hemsworth could never.

One-half of Lainey’s obsession, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, was also there looking fine beside Pine but the biggest news coming out of the premiere is about Chris’s penis – or his Full Pine as I affectionately call it.

As Sarah told me when the film premiered at TIFF, Chris has a full-frontal nude scene. Naturally, it’s what everyone wants to ask Chris and his director David McKenzie about.

“It’s a man getting clean in a cold Loch – you don’t do that with your clothes on. And it’s micro seconds, it’s ridiculous all the fuss about it.”

Chris echoed his director’s sentiments back in September talking about his Full Pine to The Hollywood Reporter.

"There's so much beheading in this, and yet people want to talk about my penis… I think that says something about our society, where people can get disemboweled, but it's the man's junk that is of interest.”

He’s right. Our society is way too obsessed with sex and nudity when it should be more concerned with depictions of violence but think about how many actresses have had to discuss their nude scenes. Remember when it was the main topic of discussion in every interview Kate Winslet ever did? Every time an actress gets naked in a movie, it’s a story. She has to answer questions about it for the whole press tour. I’m OK with Chris getting the same treatment.

Chris doesn’t seem too bothered by the reaction though because when ET asked him how he feels about the overwhelming response to his Full Pine, he said, “I’ll take it".  I’ll take Chris Pine joking about his Full Pine any day of the week. I’m sorry again for my momentary lapse in judgement.

Outlaw King premieres on Netflix on November 9th.
