Can you remember the last time we saw Chris Pine without a beard? It’s been about a year or so, when he was promoting Dungeons and Dragons. At least that’s what the photo agency is telling me. And of course over the last few weeks, he’s been in full Poolman mode to promote his film. Even for the premiere of Poolman he showed up in not-a-suit but in his character’s costume.
Now though, it would appear, at least from his appearance, that Chris has put Poolman to bed. He was papped last night leaving a show, wearing a proper suit, and we can actually see his face. He shaved. The hair is still longish, and I don’t mind it like this, but we’re done with the beard, at least for now.
There was a woman with Chris last night. It’s the standard pap expression, “mystery woman”, in the caption, suggesting that he was on a date. Did he shave for his date? If it was a date, I like her style approach. She’s wearing pants, loafers, and a blazer – keeping it simple, not trying too hard, but still very, very cute. Not that I get a say but Chris, if you’re reading this, and it was a date, she has my vote!
