The Most Unexpected Hard Launch

No one had this on their bingo card and if you claim you did, you are lying!

Elizabeth Hurley and Billy Ray Cyrus hard launched their love yesterday with a co-post on the grid wishing people Happy Easter but this had less to do with Jesus’s resurrection than letting people know that they’re a thing now. 

Billy Ray is coming off of an acrimonious divorce from Firerose and is reportedly estranged from several members of his family including Miley Cyrus. From this vantage point, given what’s been out there for public consumption about the Cyrus family, and also of course Billy’s behaviour in recent years, there are definitely some red flags and, um, red hats. 

As for Liz, she hasn’t been in a relationship – at least not publicly – since she was engaged to the late Shane Warne. Before that she was married to Arun Nayer and it was speculated that there was some overlap in those relationships. 

Her son, Damian, seems supportive of the Billy Ray romance in the comments. Her son’s father, by the way, is the late businessman Steve Bing who initially contested the paternity after their brief situationship. Liz said after his death that they were all on much better terms prior to his passing. And then, before all that, there was Hugh Grant. 

The point is, as surprising as this news is, it’s not surprising for her. She doesn’t fall in love with her head. I suppose not many of us do. See also JLo, although JLo’s picker’s looking better than Liz’s right now.
