The Disclosure Fashion Show

As mentioned earlier this week, Steven Spielberg’s Disclosure started screening for critics and other industry last week and the first reactions were big positive. Some have been saying that this is Spielberg’s best film in 20 years. He is one of the most revered names in Hollywood right now, a living legend so people are predisposed to venerate him but the hype does, this time, feel legit. At least right now.
Disclosure opens next week, on June 12, and it’s obvious now that it has to do with extraterrestrial life on earth, they’re not keeping that a secret, but that the movie is about so much more. Disclosure is literally about the knowing and the impact of the knowing – at least that’s the idea that Spielberg is advancing in the featurette/final trailer that was released a few days ago.
The press tour is currently in Europe, last night was the Paris premiere. Emily Blunt already made headlines when she showed up to the photo call like this two days ago:
That could have easily been the red carpet look. For the red carpet proper though, Emily was in custom Alaia and in a dress like this, fitted to the upper body in white, which is suuuuch a high degree of difficulty, you can see the advantage of having a piece designed to your specifications.

The undergarment has been built in. So that you can’t see any straps, any seams, any lines, and or other protrusions, through the material.
As for Colman, I mean, it’s always a slay. This jacket is amazing, the way it swoops around his neck and of course he knows exactly how to showcase the split when he puts his hand in his pocket.
I am, however, the most gagged over Josh O’Connor, even though most of the photos don’t do it justice. Because it looks like he’s wearing a morning coat… and it is, sort of, but it’s actually a sweater! Seriously, look at this beauty.
And what makes this extra clever is that Josh is kinda known for sweaters – so he’s basically wearing the most elevated luxury sweater, formally. Right after he wore a sweater vest at the photo call.
I’ve had a crush on him since last year in Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, and now that he’s working with Jason Bolden? Please. It’s become infatuation. Nothing makes me hornier than seeing a man wearing pants at this length and making it work.
