Greta Lee and Rebecca Ferguson were photographed on the set of their new film in London over the weekend, embracing and sharing a romantic kiss.

The film is described as a “lesbian rom-com”, and it comes from Always Be My Maybe director Nahnatchka Khan. Greta Lee and Rebecca Ferguson starring in a rom-com together? Be still my heart!

It’s the smile doing the most. Smiling and/or laughing into a kiss is the best. It’s like an extra energy shot. I am swept away by the beguiling charm of this moment. I am be-swept, I tell you! Is this how Lainey feels when JLo announces a new rom-com? Excited and happy? Because whatever this untitled film is, it is now among my most anticipated films for, presumably, 2027.

Oh, to be a fly on the wall of this production. You KNOW the gossip on set is good. Rebecca Ferguson and Greta Lee have been around for ages. They’ve worked with everyone. Can you IMAGINE Greta Lee gossiping about Jared Leto to Rebecca Ferguson? I bet Rebecca Ferguson would tell Greta Lee who was the “idiot” co-star who screamed at her! And don’t leave Nahnatchka Khan out, this woman directed Keanu Reeves in one of his best performances in recent memory, I bet she has STORIES, too.

Everything about this movie is already the coolest. We’re never going to survive the press tour. It’s too much charisma in one place, too much concentrated cool to cope. Marvel’s like, Oh, look, we got all the famous people in one movie, meanwhile, Nahnatchka Khan is like, Yeah, well, I got Greta Lee and Rebecca Ferguson in a lesbian rom-com. Everyone else should be embarrassed. This is the only cinema that exists right now. Well, and Heated Rivalry. Jacob Tierney is literally the only other person allowed to speak right now. Nahnatchka Khan and Jacob Tierney should teach master classes on Having The Best Ideas And How To Execute Them.
