Kristen Stewart and Dylan Meyer have been dating since August 2019 so this would have been the second time the two have celebrated a new year together. Here they are out for coffee yesterday in LA with matching masks. Kristen is fresh off the success of Happiest Season, a new movie to add to our catalogue of holiday rom-coms that we go back to year after year.

I don’t know what it is about today and anniversaries but after looking back on Brad Pitt’s January 5 from years past, I was casually browsing what other gossip stories have happened on that day and there’s a January 5 from KStew’s past too, ten years past. Exactly ten years ago today is when these pictures were taken. January 5, 2011, at the People’s Choice Awards:
Kristen and Robert Pattinson were repping Twilight with Taylor Lautner. It was the height of Twilight hysteria. While Kristen and RP were not dating during filming of the first movie, at some point between the second and the third movies their friendship became romantic. At the start of 2011, they had already been together a while, but reluctant to talk about it publicly or even really show it publicly… but this marked the beginning of them becoming more relaxed about their situation. Four months after this is when they were papped kissing after the premiere of Water for Elephants. And while a lot has changed in the last decade, not even a pandemic can deter the Robsten truthers. They remain committed to the fantasy that Kristen and Rob have been happily married for years and are the parents are two beautiful children. Happy New Year to them as well.
